BF3 performance on macbook pro drops significantly after update

Hi
I was playing BF3 on my macbook pro 15" early 2011, overclock 0.95 800/900 before the update, I could run 1440x900 at medium at ~40 fps, playing in wins 4 bootcamp.

After the update, my fps drop about 10-15 fps, on the same systems and the same settings. I am 100% sure it has something to do with the update because the only things I installed on this win7 partition is BF3 and skyrim and I only boot it to play games

anyone else have the same issue?

have imac, haven't downloaded the update yet... ****... i dont want to now because of all the horror stories but will have to because of gay origin. ill keep you posted when i fully update on imac win 7 partition.

To answer my own question.
The new catalysm preview driver 12.1 seems to fix my problem.
It seems to run slightly better than before too.

Now I'm back to running 1440x900 on low at 60-70 fps
I'm playing on 1440x900 medium at 40-45 fps though
