Big Mistake

Hi all.

I have the old 2g iPhone which was unlocked/jailbroken using ziphone.

I made the big mistake this morning of upgrading my iPhone software to 2.0.2 in i tunes 7.7.

I now have a totally locked iPhone with emergency call use only.

What are my options to unlock it and get the phone use back - do I have to wait till someone comes up with a hack to break the 2.0.2 software??

Well the first step is to open your eyes and look at the first sticky in this forum

Then follow that - or you can restore back to 1.1.4 but you'll most likely have to uninstall itunes and reinstall an earlier version or something of the sort (not 100% on that but pretty sure)

EDIT: not sure if that link unlocks it as well tho, but read it and see

Now have an iPhone with stuff on the screen, but have no signal to my carrier.

Does anyone have any ideas!

What did you do? Restore to old firmware? what firmware?
