Just thought I would relay a cool experience I had yesterday with my 12.9" iPP.
I had a research meeting with a couple of other scientists. I brought along my iPP and Apple Pencil.
We were sitting in front of one of the other researcher's computers because she was showing us some new results and we were talking about possible avenues of future research. I had come with a particular idea I wanted to pitch to the two of them.
After looking at her results for a bit I pulled out my iPP and Apple Pencil and laid it on the desk in front of the three of us and used Notability to sketch out my new idea. They loved the idea and naturally joined in. We sat there for about an hour passing the Apple Pencil around sketching up various aspects of the new idea and talking through the math involved. No one even noticed or talked about the fact that we were using an iPP and Apple Pencil... it was just as natural as if we would have been working on a sheet of paper (actually multiple sheets of paper... we generated around 6 pages of drawings, math, graphs, etc.).
At the end of the whole thing they both asked me if I could email out what we had worked up. I did it directly from Notability and they both confirmed they received it immediately... then everyone went their separate ways.
It was all so natural... and smooth. We were so focused on the science that no one even blinked at using this really cool tool to collaborate... it just happened. The large screen is so much like a normal piece of paper that it really changes the way you think about it.
Anyone else finding that the Big Pro is great for collaboration?
