I have always played my library of iTunes media (e.g., videos) that are hosted on my iMac, from my Apple TV connected to my home theatre.
After updating my iMac to Big Sur 11.3, my Apple TV, which is running the most recent version of tvOS (14.5), sees my iMac, and sees all of the media, but when I click to play anything, all I get is either a black screen or a spinning wheel.
Both are on the same home network, same sharing user ID, etc. I tried reauthorizing both the appleTV and my iMac, but no change.
The fact that I can see my iMac and the Media, all the way to the song or video level, is interesting.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thoughts?
