Big Sur Calendar showing reminders I can't delete

Some time ago I imported a calendar backup from an older version of MacOS into the Big Sur Calendar app.

What I didn't know was that this also contained some reminders, a few of which repeat indefinitely. These have been imported into Calendar which now keeps popping up notifications for these reminders.

I cannot find a way of deleting them. They aren't visible in either the Calendar or the Reminders app. Anyone any idea how to wipe them out of the system?
