Big Sur Developer Beta 5 won't install

Software Update downloads the Developer Beta 5 but then I receive an error: Download failed - An error occurred while downloading the selected updates. Please check your internet connection and try again.

I've run First Aid on the disk from Recovery many times, but that doesn't help.

What about your internet connection? Did you diagnose it?

Thanks LuisN. I had not in fact done the obvious and checked the internet connection. When I looked at Network Preferences everything seemed to be ok, but I changed the DNS servers. After that the download worked, but a new problem arose.

After the Install macOS Big Sur Beta has run, I get the following error message: "An error occurred preparing the update. Failed to personalise the software update. Please try again.

So far, every time I try I get the same response.
