I say that in some degree of sarcasm, but after a day of...

“Screenshot wants to use the microphone, agree or disagree” “Agree” “Handbrake wants to use the speaker port, agree or disagree” “Agree” “The App Store want to access your Applications folder…” and so on.

There is some sense of Déjà vu for those who remember the days of poor Windows users unwisely upgrading from XP.

Hopefully, there won't be a series of Microsoft ads with two guys heckling each other.

It surprises me that Apple fans applaud the security features of Apple about allowing access to some parts of your system to an app. In contrast, some would have said that UAC on Vista was painful and absurd. I think we have the same thing with macOS now, but personally it doesn't botter me. I like more privacy control over ease of use.

another thread like this? it's been done before. and it's as tiresome now as it was previously.

how many times do you have to give an app permission? once. then, you get on with your life. but if security makes you unhappy, there are all kinds of things you can do to compromise it.

sarcasm [ sahr-kaz-uhm ]

noun
irony, sardonic joke
a sharply ironical taunt

In plain English. Don't take it so seriously.
