Not sure if this has been mentioned here, but on my Intel iMac, App Store keeps trying to install iOS apps that I newly purchased on my iPhone. I have "automatically download apps purchased on other devices" checked but I assume it is smart enough to know that there's no Mac counterpart available. I guess I was wrong? My notification center is full of App Store install failures for these iOS only apps.

Anyone experience the same?

Uncheck "Automatically download apps purchased on other devices" worked for me. Haven't had the problem for a while now.

I'm running VLC, version 3.0.12.1. Its behaves as a macOS app, but is listed in my system report as "iOS." When I "Get Info" it advertises itself as "Apple Silicon." No complaints about performance. I downloaded directly from the developer.
