Big Sur on Mac mini M1 keeps showing eGPU-Symbol in menu bar

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I bought a new Apple Silicon Mac mini and set it up using a freshly created Time Machine backup from my previous 2018 Intel Mac mini, which had an eGPU attached at the time of creating the backup. The Problem now is that even though the eGPU is not attached to my M1 Mac mini macOS (11.2.2) unnecessarily keeps showing the eGPU-Symbol in the menu bar:

Interestingly also, the Uni Detector app thinks the Mac is running on Intel 64 hardware:


Do you have any idea what's going on there and how to get rid of the eGPU-Symbol?

Was there any eGPU software installed for the device? If so, uninstall it.

Hold down the command key and drag it out.

The only thing left now is Uni Detector saying I'm using an Intel Mac. Any idea why this happens?
