I am having some problems with the Big Sur Photos screensaver not kicking in and it seems to be using up all my RAM too. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I want to do a clean install on my iMac to fix these and other issues I have had since the update, but wasn't sure how to do it since I have a Fusion drive so for right now I am just going to try to fix the photos screensaver.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I thought there was something I could delete in the 'Library' that would help fix it and tried that but it didn't help.

Same problem. Screensaver can't find Photos library. (shows up gray in selection area). Spent nearly 2 hours in Apple Service chats and phone calls. No help. It can only. access photos I put in a file on my desktop.

Hope someone has a solution.

Is it not working because I have over 200,000 photos in iCloud (and over 35,000 photos in Favorites and Favorites is the folder I am trying to use as my Photos Screensaver._
