Yep, the largest 2.5" drives available are the 320GB. And they are pricey!!!! For the same money you could get an external drive in a firewire case with lots more GB's.
Do you NEED for the storage to be internal?
no i dont need it to be internal, i just need alot of space for videos and music, and i want it to look good under my tv.
i've started using my mini as a media center, and my external hd's dont really look good under the tv with the mini, TV and Mini are silver, and the hd's are just ugly... maybe i'll get a stacker those look like they match the mini nice
thanks for putting idea back in my head!

Actually THIS is the page I was looking for... I love when I get to quote myself...![]()
it is on a stand but its a wood and tight to the wall, so i cant get anything behind it.Is the Tv on stand? if yes then you can hide the ext. case behind the stand..![]()
Yeah, i really like the way that looks
The MiniStack 2 can be noisy. I have two of them - one as my Mini's boot drive and the other as an AEBSn drive/hub.
I take it the noise is from the fan in the ministack. I'm wondering just how noisy it would be. I'm thinking of getting a ministack v2 to use with my powerbook as my hub & external drive. If the thing is wailing away on my desk, I would not like that.
Well, when I'm watching King Kong on my Onkyo Dolby Digital surround system, I hardly notice it.
It's not too bad - the fan spins up incrementally as the drive heats up.
