They are going to stop making them. They are going to announce that they realize that this campaign has gone on for way longer than it should have. It was cool at first and they overstayed their welcome. Both actors are awesome but its time we move on. There are better ways to advertise Macs to the public. Then a long apology to non-DVR users. BAM!

I think they have run out of things to poke fun at without coming off as looking like a**holes.

I'm surprised Hodgeman and Long

have agreed to stay on as long as they have. They are in serious danger of getting typecast, not good for their careers.

yeh, i think they should have scrapped the Mac Pc ads this time last year, i used to watch them again and again, now i just find the newer ones a little embarrassing.

that said, my favorite was the 'Vista - cancel or allow' one.

i would love to see Think Different | 2.0

i don't know, i'd say these ads have been successful. though some of the newer ones haven't been my favorite or anything. i do look forward to see what they come up with next though

Japan stopped theirs long ago, and the UK followed suit, and I'm sure the US is soon to follow. I know they've been around for a while, but I personally still find them funny and enjoy watching them. These are the only kind of mac ads I've seen that are fun to watch. All the other ones are dancing or moving between different mediums to show that videos and music are for more than just your computer. *shrug* Hopefully any replacement ads will be just as creative.

I'm really not a fan of them anymore. I think they need to make commercials that actually show some of the features (as in a screen cast, sort of) that make OS X so great. (I'm not talking like a tutorial, I mean kind of like the videos that came out when Apple announced Leopard)

The UK stopped them pretty quickly - the two who played them are a comedy duo and they both play seriously flawed individuals but the mac guy in their series is a right cock - I'm not sure they really worked here becuase of that.

Stupid thing is the US ads would have worked better here.. we all love US movie stars after al and we get plenty of US TV shows...
