BigSur 11.3: unlock Mac with Apple Watch not working anymore

After my upgrade to BigSur 11.3 I cannot unlock my MacBook Air 2015 with my Apple Watch. Has anyone the same issue? Ideas on how to solve it will be much appreciated. thanks a lot!

Yes.. happens to me on most major updates.. just toggle Unlock with Apple Watch off, then on again. Always works for me.

Thanks, I have tried it several times and also reboot the Mac, Apple Watch and iPhone. I will do it again, anyway thanks for the tip!

Same here! When I switch the toggle Unlock with Apple Watch on it can no longer find my Apple Watch.. I have Bluetooth and WIFI turned on both my devices..
