Mobile.me is not what I thought it would be. WAY too many bugs for a product launch. I must say that I am very disappointed.

My PC computer at work was not able to upload files. You click on the upload button and it gives you the option to click on Choose...(choose file). After clicking on Choose...NOTHING. Absolutely nothing.

I wonder if I can get my money back?

I was able to do this just fine on Friday afternoon.

I'm sure Bill Gates could care less.

Sorry, just seeing too much of this lately to pass on it... "Could NOT care less" is the proper use. If he COULD care less, that means he does care. ;)

That seems to happen if Flash Player is not installed, or is installed incorrectly.

That really sucks for a service that shouldn't need flash.

Did you sign up for the free trial? Or did you just pay up-front and then decide it wasn't for you? Did you bother to call tech support or consult the online support? It's a complicated product and you may be doing something wrong. Clearly many people are getting it to work.

That said, I'm not surprised. I have always felt .mac wasn't a very good service, so I wasn't expecting much with MobileMe.

That said, I still subscribe to the service because I need the calendar syncing. However, if Apple doesn't get things right by the next time my subscription is up for renewal, I'll probably drop it.

Thanks for the tip....it is very possible that my PC at work is lacking Flash Player. I'll give that a try.

This problem has been previously mentioned. I presume you're using Firefox 3 and XP?

Apparently there is a compatibility issue with Flash ver. 10.

One fix is to uninstall Flash 10, then install Flash 9.

I did this and if fixed that issue.

(my only problem was the following day when I went to another site it informed me that I didn't have the latest version of Flash, and did I want to proceed.)

If you want to try this the Adobe pages are:

Uninstall Flash Player 10:

Install Flash Player 9:
