Hi, so I no longer wish to bill my streaming services through Apple Itunes. Mainly because I want to use a different credit card for this. So I've cancelled all the subs from my Iphone. But if I log into those streaming accounts I cannot then add new payment method because it still thinks I'm managing through Apple.

So do I need to let all the subs expire before I can change it over to new payment method? Or is there a way to clear that out?

Depending on who the streaming service is most of them require you to login through their website to provide billing details.

Yes I am aware of that. That's how I paid for my streaming service prior to using Itunes. However I am changing back to paying direct through the streaming website. However the option to do so is not available. Because it tells my payment is handled through Itunes. I managed to update all but HBO Max. They told me I have to just let the subscription expire then I should be able to add my new payment method. Which is what I was trying ask. Is that the case for any service that was paid through Itunes? If one wants to change that away from Itunes one must cancel the sub and wait for the end date before a new payment method through their website is made available? Which I gather is yes from talking to HBO cs.
