I am running 10.6.6 OS X Server and 10.6.6 on some client machines.

I have binded the machines to OD, and setup the user preference panel to connect to the OD as well.

When I installed the client machines they picked up that we had created a user account on the server that matched the local admin account for a user. Now I am trying to create another local admin on the client machine and I can't get it to bind to a matching user name within OD.

Is there something I am missing? I don't need network portable home shares here since each user only uses one machine.

I finally found out how to do it and thought i would post to help anyone.

On the server go to Server preferences and click on the user. Then at the bottom click the cog and press send email. It will email the user and then in the email on the client machine click on configure. It will do the rest :)
