Bioshock 2 giving BSOD in Bootcamp?

It seems without fail that Bioshock 2 is giving me the Blue Screen of Death in Bootcamp if my play session extends longer than about 15 minutes. Its only happened once in game though, it usually happens when I choose "Quit to Windows" and instead of quitting to Windows it quits to BSOD.

I'm running Windows XP on a newer Mac Book Pro 15-inch that I got back in May of 09'; the one with the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT (Sorry for the horrid description). Any advice as to what to do? I'm thinking maybe I need to update my graphic card drivers but I've got no idea where to look for them. I'm also thinking it may just be my Macbook overheating. When I touch the bottom of the computer while playing, it is INCREDIBLY hot. I can't stand to touch it for more than a second because its almost scolding. You guys seem to be the experts, thoughts?

Download SMC Fan Control and crank it up. Also make sure that there is a good airflow under you Mac as it sounds like you are having thermal issues.
As for card drivers just grab the ones from Nvidias site. Use the 9M ones.

To get SMC fan speeds to translate into Windows you need to set the desired RMP, then restart into XP. That should keep it a little cooler. Also get a laptop stand that exposes the back bottom to airflow. Also consider using desktop fan to blow sideways left to right under the computer.

Have you been playing many other graphically-intensive games in Boot Camp? If so, have they given you any problems?

I have a 1st gen 15" uMBP, and it gives me BSODs every once in a while, but not with any consistent cause (most often happens in a botched startup attempt). I got mine back in Nov. '08, and the video card drivers are just as old, so I'm not sure why yours would be inadequate if you don't notice any other performance issues. Then again, I'm running Vista and not XP.

As for your heat issues, if it's truly scalding hot, I wonder if your fans are functioning properly. I know that when I'm BootCamping mine are spinning constantly at a pretty high rate. I usually use a notebook cooler (Zalman) to mitigate the heat, as I noticed reduced performance and increased crashes when heat started getting out of control.

Bioshock 2 has not crashed on me once.
