Amazon is having a downloadable game sale and the PC download of Bioshock Infinite is $20. The Mac download is near $40, but since they both give Steam codes, and the game is a Steamplay title, if you buy the PC version, the Steam key will give you access to the Mac version as well. I just tried it and it works fine. Awesome deal on a great game.

Thanks -- I just tried this but it gave me an amazon .exe to open -- I'm on a mac and there was no code in the amazon email? Do I have to have windows installed to actually activate it?

Don't download anything from Amazon. In the email and in your digital game library on Amazon, it shows a product code. That is your Steam key. Go to Steam, download and install it, and create an account if you don't already have one. Then go to your games library and hit the plus on the bottom to add a new product to your Steam Library. Then it will prompt you for the key and to install the game through Steam.

Thanks -- This **** worked!

Thanks just picked it up. Thanks! :)

BTW, the downloading stuff from Amazon seemed confusing. FYI all you have to do is get the product key, then go into Steam and tell it you want to activate a game on Steam. Insert the key, then download the game via Steam.

Thanks for this! I was holding out for a better Steam sale that probably wont come for another 6 months or so.
