OS X Bioshock Infinite on Macbook Air 2012

Hi! This is my first post on this forum so I apologize if this is a dumb question.

I have a 2012 13" MBA (1440 x 900) that has a 1.8HHz Intel Core i5, 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB graphics, and a 256 harddrive. I've realized that when I play a game on my MBA, the top left area of my MBA gets extremely hot and the fan kicks in. I usually stop playing because I'm afraid that my laptop could get hurt from getting to hot (I'm a little paranoid when it comes to expensive items). Today, I saw that Bioshock Infinite was available for Macs and I really want to buy it. Does my MBA support this game? If it gets hot should I stop?

It's supported -> It should run. I am not sure about performance thought. I can test it later today (I have same MBA as my secondary machine)

MBA will get hot. Aluminium works like heatsink in this case Internal HW is designed to withstand high temperatures. There is a temperature limit - when reached computer shuts down (I have yet to see a Mac to do that)
