I'm using a new 2.8ghz 8 core Mac Pro with 12gb Ram and the ATI 2600xt (8800 on the way!)

I've had to instal x64 of vista as 32 xp and vista only recognise 2gb or Ram.

I had Bioshock working on both XP and 32bit Vista, but for some reason when I start it up in x64 the screen goes blank and the game crashes.
I've re-installed several times, I've updated the video drivers, it's almost 6am and I just don't want this thing to beat me!!

anyone have ANY idea why it's not working?

I have installed and played Crysis, Lost Planet and Just Cause on the same platform today so I know everything is as it should be

any ideas?...please...

Hmmm well I can say it works because I had it installed and played for a while on my PC with Vista X64 but I've uninstalled the game because I got bored of it.

hours later it turns out to be a DirectX 10 update issue

I thought that would have been included during all the updates to crysis I applied

*sigh*
