Hi guys,

I used to get notifications on my contacts' birth dates, but this seems to have stopped recently. My wife and I still get them on our Macs and iPads, but not on our iPhones anymore. I'm not sure when this started happening, as I can't remember when was the last time I saw such a notification, but I suspect it might have been after the upgrade to iOS 14.
Do these notifications still work for you? Have you seen one recently?

Thank you.

It's already set. But it isn't working anymore.
No notifications are displayed for birthdays, though I do get them for other calendar events.

Interesting. Check settings, notifications and see if you have banners, sounds and badges enabled for all of the categories.

They're all correct. And they haven't been changed in a long time.

This is happening both on my Xs and on my wife's 11 Pro Max. And neither one of us has changed any settings recently. That's why I suspect either iOS 14 or 14.1 to be the culprit. But it's strange that it still works for you, so there must be something else in addition to that.

Odd for sure. Call apple support? I know when I updated to iOS 14 on my 11 and got my new iPhone 12 my calendar settings were defaulted back to off. Had to manually enable them. No issues since then though.

I have not received any notifications recently either... perhaps the reason is because that at least on my iPhone, birthdays do not appear at all -- although that calendar has been turned on...

Birthdays continue to appear on my Mac as well...
