I have been reading that XBMC works on it, once I see my addons will work with it my jailbroke Apple TV 2 is going to ebay. I can sell it for enough to pay for this with some left over

Hows the Plex app? I got a Roku because it supported Plex, but the Plex app on it sucked so I sent it back.

I will be interested to hear about this as well. I currently AirPlay from my mac to my Appletv XBMC but this would be awesome.

I love it so far. It's the best of Roku and Apple TV (minus some obvious features). There is room for improvement and I hope amazon updates the OS frequently. I wish the 3rd party apps looked more like the Fire OS UI (Youtube is horrible navigating through). Plex works perfect for me. It plays all my movies and TV shows from my Mac mini.

I'm thinking of selling my chromecast now.

Ok my first major gripe is the lack of the "x-ray" feature for movies/tv shows. Why do i need to buy a kindle for that?
