I'm trying but I can't. Is this actually not possible?

If so, what a major fail.

Works both directions for me as well. If you're trying to send via text rather than iMessage, is data on? I find that since I've been using the "modes" in BatteryDoctor Pro to conserve battery life, I have to remember to toggle data as needed when trying to send or receive pics; their Indoor mode automatically turns data off, and I don't use iMessage.

Mms doesn't work on stock messaging either even though MMS is enabled in settings.

Weird

I did. I have no idea what's wrong with it. This is very frustrating. I'd hate to have to restore and then rejailbreak the stupid thing.

I don't think it's that serious. There's been times in the past that i've tried to send an MMS and it would look like it was going to send then it would just hang. I would just kill the app in the switcher and try again later.

Well I just figured it out, and what a stupid flaw in Apple's system this is.

I googled around for a bit, and apparently iMessages won't send pics if you have wifi on; it will only send if you have cellular data enabled.

Since I am tethering from my iPhone right now, I figured it's the same issue. I turned off personal hotspot and tried again and it went through without any hiccups.

But seriously, major fail on Apple's part. Doesn't make sense.

Edit
I suppose I shouldn't be so quick to slander the Empire. . . I reset network settings and now everything works great.

I was I had had such a simple fix.

I restored yesterday, synced and set up my stuff, jailbroke, and got my tweaks. Only to realize I was stuck with an iOS 5 App Store.

Had to re-do 5 hours of work =/

I know it's been months since anyone posted another reply, but I just figured out why my biteSMS wasn't working. I somehow turned off my "Location Services" feature. It may, or may not be the answer, but I've been tinkering with my phone all day trying to get it to work until I turned it back on.
