iPhone Bitesms question - refunded my sale price purchase

I bought bitesms at some point last year when it was on sale for $5.99. So great I had a license..... fast forward to the evasion jailbreak. I downloaded bitesms but had issues with the license despite entering my paypal invoice number and everything.

So I email the dev and they inform me that my $5.99 was returned and the license taken away.... :confused: very odd as I never requested a refund... So I go in to paypal and verify that they did indeed refund me.

I wrote back to the dev team and asked why they refunded the money? was the 5.99 price a limited time thing? I never got a response from them....

Did this happen to anyone else? Did they do this so I have to pay the full price? If so thats pretty shady business. Not a big deal for an $8 app I guess but I'm just curious.
 
The biteSMs "team" are a bunch of morons who offer terrible customer support/service. I emailed them 4 times requesting a refund because their app kept crashing and putting my device into 'safe mode'.....no response.

I opened a resolution case at PayPal and explained my situation.....refund declined by biteSMS

I bumped it up to a case dispute and backed up my claim with FACTS, including link to a forum where others were having similar issue......PWNED!!! Immediate refund from PayPal.

Those clowns at biteSMs will NEVER see a single red cent from me again.

I bought it too when it was on sale but never had a prob.
I dont think they did it so you can pay full price, you're overthinking it IMO.
Probably some screw up or misunderstanding on their end. Its a great package, definatelly no big deal for a $2 difference.

Any reason to pay for the app rather than just accept the ads and block them with adblocker?

Go check out bite's forum and see how many issues and complaints pop-up on a daily basis.

And that's why they have those forums for feedback, crash reports, fixing issues and thats why they have updated betas almost every other day to fix and address those bugs.
Very proud of those guys that stand behind their work.

I totally agree it's not a big deal for the extra $2 just found it a little bit peculiar that's all.

I paid for it because its my favorite jailbreak app along with sbsettings and I wanted to support the dev team, and also to be able to use themes.
 
Not sure why there's so much bashing of Bitesms. So far it's been excellent and everything I wanted out of the iPhone...working flawlessly on my iPhone 5 and paid for a license. Well worth it.

One person bashing BiteSMS in multiple threads is not much BiteSMS bashing. :D
