does anyone know what happens if i purchase like 50 sms for 3 € and need to restore my iPhone or just jailbreak to the new 2.0.1 will i lose the credit i paid for or does the app when i reinstall it somehow recognize that i already paid for with my phone #

cuz i just purchased it without thinking ... what if ...

It should be linked to your Account at your provider's servers. It has nothing to do with the phone, only that your SIM (and maybe the IMEI number) matches. That is why you don't get a new Phone number when you restore. Same idea.

He's actually referring to a jailbreak app called "BiteSMS," which is essentially a cheap sms program. Instead of using your carrier's SMS plan, you can use biteSMS instead. In some instances, especially sending worldwide, it may save you money. But I would check with your carrier. AT&T, for example, has some text messaging plans that will save you a ton of money on pay-per-use if you text a lot, but if you rarely do, this might be a great alternative. Plus it seems they don't expire, so you can roll them over as long as you want.

However, you'll probably have to ask on their forums for advice. My guess is you have some sort of account you log into, or it recognizes your number or something.

well i can write 50 sms for 3 € instead of 10 € with t-mobile so yea its cheaper ^^ guess ill have to sign up on their ****** board to ask
