bitstream audio output from OSX DVD Player

Hi.

Is there a way to select between bitstream and PCM digital audio output on the Mac OX DVD Player? I'm only able to send a PCM signal to my amp right now, and this prevents playback in digital surround modes (ie. Dolby Digital and DTS).

Open preferences, select 'Disc', under audio output select digital out.
