Apologies if this has been spied before.

Black MacBook going for £850.

1.83GHz White one for £635

Here

Well I haven't seen that yet Al, so damn good call. So good in fact that one of my friends has just ordered the white 2.0ghz model.
If it wasn't a crappy month for me financially (thanks to my brother's wedding) I'd be ordering one too.... or the BlackBook.

Nice to know that they are becoming available though!

MB 2.0ghz White: £763.75

Well, so I could have saved £160 :-(
On the other hand, it was worth that money for the time I have used it already :)

That said, £635 for a MacBook is excellent value. If I didn't have one, I would have ordered it right now.

Buy my iMac someone, PLEASE! LOL :)

£500 shipped incase anyone is interested, and I'm not thread crapping, Its already up in the marketplace :)

I want me a MacBook for Schoolio, quick. :(

Same prices at the Campus contract prices for new machines...more or less. The contract price include 3 yrs Applecare too.

Not that I'm rubbing it in or owt. :)

Yeah spotted that this morning... the 2.0GHz white is tempting but it's still not as cute as my BabyBook™!

Don't worry too much guys, I'd be slightly wary of a Refurb MacBook, look closely at what they've called them... ;)

no way .. that's gotta be a fake for sure ... im like 99,99% sure it's one. The 0,01 % left is because you are a Demi-God and ... I don't know

Hypothetically. If at WWDC 2006, new iMACS are introduced, then how long do you think it would take for apple to put the refurbished versions on the canada/united states website?

I don't know exactly, but the timescale between a new product shipping and then refurb versions appearing seems to be about two months for the US refurb store. Longer for the UK one, (this batch of MooBooks are the first I've seen on the UK one).

well i just got a 1.8 macbook with 1gig ram, and bluetooth mouse for 737 quid!

if i wanted the 1.8 macbook with standard config it would've cost me just ten quid more than refurb, in the NUS online apple store (basically the HE apple store)
