Has anyone gotten Black and White Platinum to work on the Intel Macs? I just got a macbook and I cant seem to get the game to run. I keep getting and error message that says to change the resolution to 800x600. When I do this it still comes up with the same message. Ive tried rebooting, but I still cant get it to work. Any Ideas?

Wow! Do I have bad breath? Body Odor?

Or has no one tried running Black and White on an Intel? There is a game guide here on the forum that I had looked at, and it says black and white plays well under rosetta, however I cant seem to get it to work. Any Ideas?

One day without a response to a very specific question like this isn't cause to "wow!"
It's not like you hired a tech support crew to throw themselves at the problem, and obviously no one has tried that EXACT game on that EXACT computer, so chill.

And my suggestion is to find it for Windows and run it in Boot Camp.

I apologize if this does not meet your highness' exacting standards~

Hello. The guide you mentioned is updated by MacRumors members on a voluntary basis. It's hard to keep it up to date, especially with older games (6 years old in this case).

Just to put us on the right track, what version of OS X are you using? I've taken a peek at Feral's site and they didn't included 10.5 yet into their supported systems list for that game. It might still be that they haven't updated the game's page yet, but then again, 10.5 might have broken the game's compatibility.

What were the specs of the last computer you successfully used it on (hardware/OS)?

Have you installed the game's latest patch? (1.1.9 methinks)

Have you updated Quicktime to the latest version? Old versions of quicktime used to cause Black & White problems, I think this has been fixed with the latest patch.

If all else fails, Feral have a nice page that will allow you to report problems and ask for assistance. Link

If you find a fix for your problem, make sure to let us know what was the cause so we can keep the guides up to date. ;)
