Black apple.com

So has anyone noticed that today's Mac Pro announcement has summoned all black items on http://www.apple.com. I hate to fuel wild speculation, but it does seem as though Apple is favoring the color black these days... the iPhone had an all-black page, including the background... Is there reason to believe that black is the new aqua?

Umm.. pro hardware (PM, MacPro, PB, MBP) have been black for a while. The non-pro hardware (iMac, mini, MB) is still in white. Similarly, Aperture, FCP-Black, iLife & iWork- White.

black is more classy than white, i think white makes the item less special. black also gives a better contrast and makes the product stand out more IMO

I'm looking and I'm seeing a Mac Pro, iPhone, tv, WWDC, and Adobe CS3. *Bold denotes pro.

iPhone is a toss-up because we don't know how Apple will handle the iPhone line, but I left it out because there has never been an "iPod Pro" even though there have been models with more capabilities than others. Same goes for tv. CS3 isn't even Apple's product so the background could be sky blue for all they cared - but they picked black.
