Black Circle Under Top of iPad Screen

Does anyone else see a black circle underneath the top of their iPad screen?! Can this be a front facing camera!? I don't know what else it could be but you can only see it in bright light. Anyone have an idea?

That's the "home" button. You hit it when you want to leave an activity and get back to the screen with all the choices on it.
