Personally I'm going to buy an M4 mac mini Pro or iMac (probably the mini).

Is anyone else holding out for Black Friday deals?

I've seen some UK apple dealers already offering 5% off. I wonder if BF will bring larger discounts.

Waiting for BF also allows us to check out reviews of these machines before buying.

I am looking at a new M4 iMac, I have to get it from Apple though as I want the colour co ordinated trackpad, resellers just seem to do the mouse one and I don't think you can just buy a coloured trackpad separately. I know Apple do gift card offers on BF but not sure if iMac will be included, I can easily wait as I was going to buy one last year and put it off, so another month won't matter, I have a 21.5" 2017 one at the moment. I shall also check reviews.

I am also upgrading from the 21.5" iMac! It's a great time to update!

You can buy the trackpad separately by calling or chatting AppleCare. Just depends if you want both the mouse and trackpad - if so, doesn’t matter where you buy it - or if you want just the trackpad, in which case Apple direct is your best bet.

For the last few years Apple has done gift cards with purchase for Black Friday, but only for older devices. Anything released in the last few months is generally excluded so I doubt any of the recently released M4 Macs will be included in their Black Friday sale.

Maybe not but if they did even 100 gift card would be awesome. Buy the new mini and then get the gift card. Then use the 100 to get free Apple Care.

In case you are in the UK and interested in a new mac, KRCS have just started their Black Friday event.

Save 10% on any mac (including the new ones).

I stopped by today and he said they price match up to 10%. But no Amazon or Costco. Anyone know who who they do match?

An Costco is 20 off the mini and 20 off the Apple Care.

I purchased the new mac mini M4 Pro from KRCS for 10% off (saved about £140, which is not bad!), so you can get a discount on new models, outside of Apple at least.

Buying at KRCS with 11% discount makes the upgrade from 24 GB to 48 GB £180 instead of £360 (which ordinarily should be £400).

I can get a Mini M4 Pro 14/20 with 1 TB SSD and 48 GB for £1979 vs. £2200. That effectively means a free keyboard. 🤣
