What is the best possible mac mini deal i could get for a fully maxed out mac mini? I looked at all the major sites and they didn't offer a better deal than the education discount.

Is the education discount the best deal i can get?

I was waiting until today to buy a mini. NO DEALS. May as well just take the education discount if you want a maxed out Mini. If you want to save $60 in tax buy from Macmall.

No Mac Mini deals from Apple at least :( Why it's left out from every promo they do?

1) Lowest profit margin of any Mac

2) Someone who buys a Mac Mini might have bought a more profitable laptop or iMac, so they don't want to encourage you to give them less money

3) They're satisfied with how it sells without deals.

Amazon has the mini for $549, free shipping and no tax, ordered one yesterday and also ordered from Best Buy a 20 inch monitor for $79.99 plus tax, came to $96.65 so I got a new mini set up for $645.65. Works for me as I have keyboards and a mouse already.

Mac Mini price at Amazon

Amazon just raised the price on Mac Minis today (Black Friday) by $30.
I think it's from a deal they just worked out with Apple.

I guess I was lucky to have ordered mine on Thanksgiving day, at least something good happened for me on that day.

Maybe there will be a cyber Monday deal.......Otherwise it looks like B&H has the best price for what I'm looking for. $574.99 shipped for a 2.26, 2GB and 160 GB HDD (Ill swap the drive to a 500 GB I have lying around here)

If you look at Fry's Electronics for Saturday (it was a one day deal) you could get the $799 Mac Mini for $100 off. That's the best mini deal I've ever seen, they had $70 off a while back, but $100 off on the Saturday AFTER black friday impressed me. Couldn't convince the Mrs. to go for it though.
