so this happened a while ago, but i just found this forum so i thought i'd ask...

i've noticed these small black dots on the right side of my laptop, where i rest my wrist when typing....there's some on the left side too.

i googled and some people mentioned something about having acid in your skin and that's what caused it, but i'm not sure. my cousin has the same laptop and hers is clean...

doesn anyone else have this problem? and is there any way to get rid of it or hide it? it's bothering me so muchhhh! i hate dots

I dunno about getting rid of it, but wash your hands thoroughly before using the Mac and you should be right in future, assuming it's the acid-based problem.

Jewelry (like watches, rings, bracelets etc) can cause wear and tear - not so sure about dots though.

I know that on my old MBP I had faint lines from where my watch would rub the case when I typed. So I take it off whenever I use my MBP.
