Just something I did over a weekend. All flat black, and running Microsofts Virtual PC 7, and OS X Tiger and Leopard.

Scratching off is a problem that I solved with sanding the white case with 120 grit sand paper and using that new krylon plastic paint. Parts took at least three or four coats I am looking at maybe putting a clear coat over the top of everything. I didn't want to paint the track pad or keyboard though because, track pad not working and keyboard all black wasn't the best thing for me. But my next project is I am in the middle of putting an iBook motherboard in an old PS2 case, and wiring it so everything works, controllers, TV hook-ups, the works.

leopard huh?

cant believe how many select adc members or whatever are out there to be honest

Yea, my system administrator got me into it, Leopard is one really sweet operating system, can't wait for it to come out for real,(I hear that gold master is ready, I have the latest build and it is stable enough that I would use it as my main OS) but partioning my Lacie portable HD and installing it on there worked really well.
