What are the main problems of the black macbook? Just smudges and grease from oily fingertips?

Are there any reports or users who have experienced any of the discoloring problems the white macbooks have?

I was almost set on getting a white macbook, but I don't want a laptop that stains from everyday use. I'd be willing to shell over more for a cleaner looking laptop.

i just bought a macbook black a month ago. sure it smudges often but its nothing that a t-shirt/wipe can't take out in a couple of seconds. i love the look of the matte black case.go black!!!(if u have the extra cash)

Only issue is smudges, yet its not as bad as i would have thought. It depends on the lighting, where my laptop is positioned it looks like no smudges at all, yet when moved by the window i can notice them. But all it takes is a quick wipe down with a damp cloth and it looks like brand new again!

But, do not use any keyboard sleeve with it to protect your macbook... the stains let over there are permanent or so I have found out to be :(

My 2ghz blackbook suffered random shutdowns out of the box. Firmware update fixed it. Currently my blackbook is overheating and losing its airport connection forcing me to sleep it and awaken it or restart. No recourse to the second problem as of yet.
