Black notification badges

Hi guys running ios 18 beta 2 and i seem to have a weird issue that the badges for notifications are now black but only on the bottom bar (phone messages email and whatsapp) for any other of the apps they are still red
i have looked thru settings etc and cant seem to find anything
does anyone have any idea or is it just a ios 18 beta bug possibly

What’s the feedback ID you received when you reported the bug to Apple? Will be useful for others who may run in to the same issue.

The customize function is buggy in beta 2.... Happens to me as well, you have to play around with the icon modifier... Make it light then back to black, large then back to normal size, etc.... some of combinations will get it back to normal.
