I didn't see this combo posted yet. So here you go. Feel is a slimy fabric. It's extremely light. I love in Az so this is good for summer. It's quite long. If you have a 42 that's anti ally large for your wrist it may want to look in person lest you wind up wrapping a ton of strap

Overall my initial impression is his is MILES better than a sport band. I'll be surprised if the sports models sell as well as the watches paired with these. They're a lot more universal. Usable for sports. Casual and even a suit. At least the black.

Very happy. Wish they had them earlier and I hadn't spent so much on third party leather loops (which are generally ok and mostly as good as the apple. I just prefer the nylon)

Just a little give so you can wear it relatively snug but not get pinched when you hit the full flex of the wrist.

I'm a fan.

Sorry there a little blurry. My dog was jumping all over my hand trying to get me to give her dinner half an hour early. If anyone wants a different angle. Bigger or cleaner photos. I'm happy to take some with a real camera but honestly. It feels better and looks better in person than I'd thought it would. Less cargo pants feeling more silk robes. Certainly not the sort of khaki NATO / ZULU strap feel were used to.

Looks great on you. What size is your wrist? I'm 195mm and wondering how many holes will be left to tuck under the loop so it looks balanced. I know the specs for 42mm state up to 215mm.

I'm around 178-180. So. You should be able to gauge pretty well.

A relatively snug fit has me absolutely dead center. 7th hole. There are 12

You probably would be out 2-3 more holes

Here's my guess on how much you'd have left. Maybe one less than this. 9th hole.

Edit

Sorry I'm on the sixth hole. So you'd be at 9 at most. Depending how much water or heat / swelling / how loose I want it I'm on the 7th but mostly 6 as I refer slightly more snug

Thanks a lot! I'm off to the Apple Store in the morning. Pearl white I think. Wish there was a regular stainless steel as well as space grey on the black strap. The same way as the sport bands are. I want black but not the dark buckle.

Yah I wish more of the other bands had black it's frustrating!!

I want the blue with red accents one. But not with stainless!

Anyway glad to help. I can't say that it feels really nice. I was an is rant fan. So long as it's relatively durable I'm a satisfied customer.

The white one is probably on my list too it's like very nice.

The fact you can get the watch $50 cheaper now and it comes with a non rubber band / something that suits more occasions than the gym to me makes the watch a much better buy. I feel like the price drop and by long band coming with it increased value by 35%

Hey there, irrelevant but what weather app are you using to get that complication?
Carrot - you have options of how you set the large and small slots - selections..

Looks like this - you do have to pay for the app, which is subscription based and then it's another dollar or two for faster complication updates and such.. But in the end it launches extremely fast, does hyper local stuff, and gives me enough options that I don't really have to look at the actual weather app more .. Here's what the other screen looks like on modular. The big stuff in the middle and precipitation chance in the bottom middle... It's the most robust weather app out, but it will cost you $4-5 then $2 a year..hard to complain.. Except you have to have a Mac to get the hyper local push notifications but he said he's working on that..

Hope this is helpful aside from the options the weather app's gimmick if you will is that it's cheeky.. It calls you a meat bag and insults on open.. Relatively fun and has hidden locations which unlock too.

It's like weather nerd and dark sky on steroids ... At the core it's the same forecast data and if you don't run a Mac with carrot weathers push service you still need to keep notifications on for dark sky or weather nerd..

Here's the modular watch face

Here;s the actual app on the watch.. First two are one screen that scrolls. Then if you tap the current conditions you get the hourly (third screen)

The iPhone options for Notification Center are equally deep and the layout is very good.. So if you like what you see on the watch you will appreciate the app on the phone too..

Like I said, just look at the IAP because you do have to pay a small fee for faster complication refreshes - as each call costs the developer money he pays to forecast.io

That is a one time fee, the yearly subscription is to cover the overall costs.. When you realize what's involved, and the developer has been responsive even to criticism.. I can't complain if I spend $4-5 on something I look at every day and $2 a year to maintain it. I own weather nerd and dark sky, as well as the Apple Watch option of my radar (I am not a fan of that develper at all) and carrot is the go to, it's also the fastest to load on the Apple Watch by a land slide.. Faster than stock weather on mine, I've don't timed tests because I'm anal about the Apple Watch being as fast as possible.. This allows me to reduce the glances, which overall improves performance for voice replies (less glances less overhead better watch performance)

Anyway, hope that answers it sorry so long! I erred on the side of thorough since for a weather app it is one of the more expensive outside of the pro aviation weather apps.. Thought I can't call $5 expensive.

here is a review on youtube.

Why does that look so light compared to mine, I mean lighting is one thing but that looks like a totally different band!

Is that your video? if so nicely done!

You can tell the band color by the adapter color. Although in the photo of the video it looks like a black adapter (so black) but both inside and outside of band look like the Pearl version? guess it's an optical illusion because watching the video it's definitely the black version with the interior a lighter overall color.

I found a monogram icon that goes well with the new nylon watch band.

@jam_ speaking of complications. If you want a little more personality Grab monogram plus while its free if you haven't.

Have a little fun. Just google for icons.

Anyway a if you like fun complications and you're a geek like me. The possibilities are endless.

Figured I'd as this here as the watch band portion likely ran its course and the carrot. complications were mentioned

Sorry if I wasted anyone's time!
