Hello,
I just enabled TRIM on my Mac Mini with that magic string which allows any SSD to support it. Rebooted, then system information showed that trim was enabled. After Mac Mini sleeping and then resuming I got a >10min black screen and BBOD. I don't know if it was caused by enabling TRIM and if I could force a restart. Maybe OSX is applying a long TRIM routine since it never did it before.
What do you think?
----------
Self-answered: just let it sleep again and after resuming, the system has recovered by itself.
