Black screen wiht 10.9.3 and GTX 680

I have a MacPro 5,1 with a flashed Zotac GTX 680 4GB.

After the Update to 10.9.3 I'm just getting a black screen after boot (after the grey screen with the apple logo).

I've installed the newest Nvidia Drivers 334.01.01f01 and CUDA 6.0.46.

The monitor is connected via DVI-cable.

The Mac is running fine, with the Radeon HD 4870.

There have been lots of display-related changes recently (e.g. 4K support) and maybe your EFI isn't playing nicely with the new drivers or something. Is there any way to restore the original VBIOS and see if it works?

Thanks for your reply. I'll try to flash it back and test it.
 
Saw in a different thread someone having the same problem with Mavericks update and the Nvidia drivers on DVI. The suggestion was to try the other DVI port or do a PRAM reset to switch back to the Apple drivers.
 
I finally found the time to flash the card back. I did it and everything works fine. Looks like Max OS 10.9.3 supports PC 680 GTX cards out-of-the box now.

I had an issue with my Apple Display and my flashed 680 when I went to 10.9.3 as well. Changing back to Mac OS X default drivers solved my issue. I really only use the 680 for gaming in BootCamp, so I'm probably losing performance in Mac OS without realizing it.

I had same problem before. But solved with turning mirror display off (providing that you can boot from another card). I don't have to flash back to PC bios while using nvidia web driver.
 
Oddly, I have found that the Zotac 4Gb card was the only one NOT affected by 10.9.3. It is built on same reference PCB as the EVGA 2gb Mac one. Hopefully NVIDIA will fix these display issues soon. The fact that SST 4K 60 Hz is working is a good sign. I hope they don't skip MST 60hz altogether.
