Black screen with loading dial

I’m getting a black screen with a loading spinning dial. It happens randomly, either text, random app, safari even on the camera. Then it goes back to my lock screen. I have given feedback about this to Apple. But no fixes yet. Anyone know what seems to be the issue? I am running 18.1 currently and am signed to get the betas

experienced this while setting up the 16pro and trying to access apps. Seemed to resolve itself after indexing. I transferred everything from a 13 mini that had the iOS18 dev beta via iCloud. After transfer, I was prompted to update to 18.0 specifically for the 16 series. Still had issues, so I went through and manually deleted apps that I wasn't using. Seemed to help. Then it would only occur while trying to customize the home screen icons. The crashes happened several times that evening but I only have one panic in the log. Has been fine since the day after set up🤷🏼‍♂️

I've been getting occasional springboard crashes when interacting with the home screen (going home, opening apps). Make sure to submit feedback about it right after it loads back up so that it pulls the relevant logs.
