OK all you strap guru's! I need help! I REALLY REALLY REALLY want a black strap with white polka dots (think kate spade!) and to narrow it down even further... I'd love for it to be a sport strap style (as I have a feeling that a shiny stainless adapter style will be easier to find than a space gray sport adapter)

so if any of you have seen anything like this or come across one PLEASE let me know!

I wonder how far one could get by taking a strip of blue painters mask tape, cutting or punching circular holes in it in a regular pattern, laying it over an actual black sport band, and painting / dyeing the exposed bits white.

(Actually, I suspect there's some sort of self-adhesive stencil material that might yield higher precision in the edges of the holes, than blue mask would - say something used for pinstripes or lettering on cars.)

Polka dots are not quite my thing, but I think your idea opens a whole new angle for Apple to explore - patterned sport bands, done professionally from the factory. Forget "merely" different solid colors, go with colors and patterns. I could imagine, say, a series of thin diagonal stripes. Running the length of the band possibly being cool (think "barber pole" but maybe not those colors). (I've got analog watch bands that are black with, for instance, a thin red stripe running along the center of the band - the equivalent on an Apple black sport band could be cool.)
