Black vs. White?!?!

i was jst curious i have a black macbook and i was wondering which people prefer black or white macbooks???

All the black ones I have seen have like sweat patchs near the tracking pad and its not very nice.. so if I was getting a macbook I would get a white one (if you are thinking of getting one hold offaslong as possible because core 2 duo will be coming..)

i think this is cause of different oily hands constantly touching it... on mine there are no such marks....

o yea... i think the blackbooks look pretty sexy but i go all white for me

Although I would not get a macbook, I like the white casing a lot better than the black. White just seems to looks better because black looks cheap IMO. I also have a white iPod, the black one doesn't look as good IMO either.

No flaking yet but I've only had it for ~2 weeks, I'm hoping no flaking in the future (knock on wood).

I would love if Apple had color matched the accessories..

I much prefer the white. Even with phones, I couldn't do a black Blackberry Pearl -- I went with white.

White, because the black when dirty looks terrible whereas the white when dirty still looks reasonable. But aluminium is my personal favourite.

I prefer the black. Re cleaning its mostly done with a blast of compressed air now and then, and a screen wipe every couple of weeks.

OT: The one thing I REALLY HATE is when people come over and "Wow, look at that screen", and then place their smudgy fingers directly on it. Dammit, it ain't a touch screen! And the glossy finish holds fingerprints really well.

I've seen a couple of Black Macbooks on campus, the contrasting white glowing Apple logo on the black plastic is quite sexy, but not worth the price premium. I've a white MacBook C2D myself. If black had costed only a penny more I'd've gone black.

i have owned both too. and the white one gets dirty real easy, and the case scratches super easy too, i don't care if you baby that thing. The black is more durable, yea you see oil, but it wipes off really easy. Black all the way.

I love the black, because it reminds me of the good old days of PowerBooks. It has a very nostalgic feel to it.
