I think BB10 is going to be a success story. We need a real Enterprise smartphone solution and not because of its look and feel or a status symbol.

I definitely want to see it succeed. QNX is an awesome operating system. Its extremely smooth, the multitasking is great, and the gestures are very intuitive. Blackberries messaging capabilities are still unmatched and they take things like security much more seriously than apple. I don't personally own a playbook but my friend does and it is a great start and with more apps I would seriously consider switching some of my devices.

I used to own a Playbook and it was a good experience, I traded it for an iPad2 based on lack of apps. This was before the major update. Up to this day, I haven't come across a better browser on any mobile OS.

Yeah, the browser is excellent and I haven't even used the updated version which apparently makes the old one look antiquated. It was already one of the best.

I just got through checking out a big spread of BB10. This is hard for me to admit due to my terrible experiences with Blackberry in the past, but...

...it looks really, really nice. Like it takes the strongest parts from both iOS and Android, blends them together with a little WebOS, and dashes on a healthy amount of RIM styling for that extra bit of spice. Yeah, that sounds kinda corny, I know. But that's how it struck me. It's like a little bit of the best from everything.

They've got the UI nailed down, so the biggest question now is how it performs. With it be as smooth as iOS? As flexible as Android? Or will it be another half assed desperate catch-up product like the Storm?

I kinda doubt the latter, considering this is a big part of RIMs make-us-or-break-us push. But...yeah. I'm gonna want to see some reviews before I'd come close to considering plunking down some cash for one.
