Hello, all. I have been looking through the forums here for info for the past few days and I have read some great stuff. Which brings me to a question I wasn't able to find in the forums using the search option.

I have two blackberries that have unlimited add on's for text, internet and email. Which are through Tmobile. I just picked up an iPhone 2g dirt cheap off of ebay to see if I wanted to jump on the iphone band wagon for the next two years. Which my contract is up in mid June. So I have a couple of months to check this phone out. Now, in the mean time. Is there any way to use my blackberry email on the iphone? I have everything else running properly but the email. And I am stumped.

Is there any way to set it up for I can send and receive off of my iPhone?

I appreciate your input. Thanks!

Forward

Forward your BB email to another account that you do get on the iPhone. Login to TMO web site and create a new filter/Rule.

Okay great! I'll see if I can figure out the filter / rule deal. However, wouldn't that leave me just forwarding with another email account. For instance I have a lot of business contacts on my Tmobile blackberry account. Would it still appear as the BB email account when it replies? I would really prefer to communicate with on that blackberry account for the time being.

More thoughts

Using that method it's going to show being sent from the account it was forwarded to. I have not had TMO for a few years now so I forget all the options in the email setup screens but I'm pretty sure you won't be able to reply from that BB account address.

edit* For what it's worth on your original post, try and look past this BB email address fix for the moment. I say that b/c if you do switch over that address will no longer be used and you will need to use others from the iPhone in which case you can control what you are asking. Try not to let the work around effect your decision.
