I really hope Canada doesn't buy it, gov should stay out of business IMHO.
Possibly Amazon, since they seem to want to go into the mobile market, but otherwise I can't speculate.
Company will most likely be split into 2-3 sales. No one wants the hardware division.
The patents are worth much more.
Either way. Very sad to see what was once a well run and profitable company slowly die the past 3 years.
The 2 bozos co executive share the majority of the blame for trying to milk old software and product lines.
Apple and other companies need to look at RIM as a prime example not to keep milking and barely refreshing products and saying they are "brand new" innovative.
Apple has essentially become a iPhone/iPad company that sells computers. The iPod/mp3 business is dead.
Without App Store Apple is ripe for losing continued revenues very quickly
Keep in mind that article was in no way an official statement from the company that they are leaving the consumer market.
I didn't expect any of the poll options to buy BB and they haven't. Fairfax Financial and its group will be purchasing.

I voted Other because there was no "who cares" option.
I think the Canadian government is more likely to get involved in Blackberry than any of those listed. Honestly, they don't seem to be worth much outside of patents and even then no one's shown much interest since it was rumored Blackberry might sell last year. What do any of these companies have to gain, especially Apple, Google, and Microsoft who already have their own hardware assets, from buying Blackberry?
