Product reviewers or fans usually publish un-boxing videos of new items on Youtube but Blackberry is taking un-boxing to a new level and they just doing it themselves.

This newly introduced Porsche Design P9983 is rocking a dual Core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8960, 2100 mAh battery and 720×720 3.1-inch touchscreen.

One more thing...... this beauty is rumored to be slightly over $2000.

Check out the video.

Blackberry truly outdid themselves with this one.

The BB10 blackberries are truly fantastic, especially the Porsche designs. I own a Q10 and it is without a doubt the best phone I have ever owned. The hardware is fantastic and the OS is the smoothest and most functional I've ever used on a mobile phone.

Blackberry have been doing an amazing job as of recently. Very underrated phones.

I have to agree on the Q10. Nice little device. But I had a hard laugh seeing a company reviewing and un-boxing their own products. Gotta agree this is sort of .... well strange.

Pretty average unboxing honestly.

I'd expect more for the price. Phone doesn't even look worth $200. Wow, the display and UI already look outdated by years.

The Blackberry OS is actually pretty nice however specs wise it is the same as the discontinued Blackberry Q10.

It looks like this would compete with the iPhone 4. Definitely doesn't look like a 2014 smartphone.

Ya, the UI looks like a high-school project. They had a great team that could have worked on it, but they handcuffed them and forced them to work on much more menial tasks. Don't expect any advancements in the future either, the founding members of TAT all left Blackberry in disgust.

Looks kinda cool, like a 1980's Delorean looks kinda cool. Wouldn't want to own either though.

And for the 5 people that buy this phone, I'm sure that they'll be considered the 'cool kids' on BBM with their special numbers. Do people still use bbm in the developed world?

They'll be texting each other so it won't be too special.

The Passport was officially unveiled and put on sale today. I have to say i'm really intrigued with this phone. The form factor is unique and actually practical. Love the keyboard but that space bar could be troublesome. It was of course butchered on The Verge. But TechnoBuffalo and CNet seem to like it in general.

I dig the wonky retro look but my God I'd be afraid of a corner literally piecing my lower abdomen if I sat down with one of those things in my pocket. Forget bendgate, this phone might actually kill you. :p

I saw the video of them starting the passport and after 2 minutes of waiting for the phone to boot I fell asleep. I'm not sure if Blackberry went the Windows ME bootloader route, but holy crap! It takes forever.

I read somewhere it had to do something with security, but I don't know.

Considering the total times of rebooting a phone that actually wouldn't keep me from buying this phone, but its awkward size and the hardware keyboard (Hardware keyboards are great, but on with such tiny keys ultimately inferior to a software one) are no gos for me.
