with the new blackberry tour coming out for verizon, i was wondering about the blackberry plan that verizon offers. currently, i am under my father's family plan.

does verizon have an overarching unlimited data plan for blackberries? that goes on top of the normal family plan? my current phone is the samsung glyde, and with that, i just have to pay 15 more dollars for the vcast plan which gives me unlimited internet/data/vcast. is there something like that for blackberries?

I do. I work for Verizon. Every Blackberry requires either the standard $29.99 data plan, or the exchange/corp email data plan it's $44.99. The vCast vPak is only for simpler phones (like the env3) and that gets you unlimited megabyte usage. :)

What's it like having an iPhone working for Verizon?

It's funny when people ask what phone I have, they are always so interested, especially when they find out it's on T-Mobile haha.

So, you have unlocked iPhone with T-Mobile?

Don't you get like a 50% discount for Verizon plan for being an employee?

I get discounts everywhere with my company. All the major theme parks, stores like Apple %18 off anything, I get 18% off my T-Mobile bill, 16% for AT&T etc. It's nice. "Tecnically" we are outsource for Verizon. So since our company does call centers for tons of places we always get discounts. :)
