Blackberry vs iPhone text war

Hi fellow iPhone users. I'm in need of your help. I have a friend that has a blackberry and he kept sending me sports score updates that I can't block. I think it's some sort of app or program that automatically sends updates to whoever you want. So I started sending them back to him. All of a sudden I start getting a ton of texts one after the other. I tried sending them back by copy and paste, but it seems so slow.

I don't want to lose against the freaking blackberry. Is there a way that I can send him multiple texts at one time? Or even multiple emails at one time? Or just anything to spam the heck out of him!! Otherwise I'll be hearing about how bb is so much better than iPhone.

I have both a BlackBerry and an iPhone and honestly, the iPhone isn't better at "everything" (as you seem to make it sound) than a BlackBerry. Plus, a BlackBerry is far from being a poor device, as RIM is proving in that it bested the iPhone 3GS in sales recently and still has a pretty significant amount of marketshare over Apple.

Plus, messaging is definitely one area that BlackBerry has a pretty huge advantage over iPhone (iPhone's messaging is pretty basic) and unless there is a program/app there is no way on an iPhone to send him messages as fast as the BlackBerry will be able to copy/paste multiple messages, forward multiple messages, etc.

I'm sure there's probably an app (or a Jailbroken app at least) that might speed things up, but for now, he's just reminding you of one of BlackBerry's biggest strengths over iPhone: function over form.

Why don't you just hit forward in the SMS app and send them right back to him?No need to copy and paste. Forwarding would take seconds.

Wow. That really sucks that blackberry beats out iPhone like that.

I can't forward all the messages separately. If I try, they all just combine under one.

Oh, and let this be a lesson to everyone who gets in a texting war with a blackberry. U will lose!!! Sucks to say. Unless someone comes up with a solution....

i feel sorry for your friend.. wow he can email and text maybe 5sec faster then you can on your iphone but i bet you can browse full html sites MINUTES faster then he can on his blackberry..

yes ive had the curve and the bold.. iphone still wins hands down.

i used to praise the blackberry, i had the curve then switched to iphone 3g then switched to bold now got the 3gs, im VERY quick at sms'n now with landscape. i tried to txt the other day on the bold.. horrible results lol.

I know iPhone is better at browsing. But when your buddy tries to prove bb is better by texting you 90 times at once or in one minute, it's a little hard to ignore. Oh well...

Blackberries I liked until I discovered iPhone. Now I can't look back. IMO blackberry is just an inferior device.

And yes the web browsing is terrible. Omg is it terrible.

iphone pwnz blackberry.. why do you think RIM is quick to update its app world and add other features to the new models like flash and silverlight it has to have something on the iphone cuz right now its lookin slim.
