I finally got everyhing installed on my Blackbook and have it set up they way I want it.

I then installed the Patriot RAM I bought from Fry's.

Now when I boot up the Macbook it takes almost 2 minutes to boot.
30-40 seconds of Gray Screen (with no apple)
another 20-30 secinds with the Apple
another 20 seconds or so with the Aple and the status circle thing
then it boot to the blue OS X start up screens and eventually I can login.

I thought it might be the new RAM, so I swapped back in the old RAM.
Still boots slow.

Any suggestions??? I did the PRAM reset I think (removed battery and power cord and held down the power button for 5 seconds.

If I have to I will take it in to the store and ask for a replacement (just bought it on Wed night). But I would like to try everything I can before making the trip to the store.

Thanks

I figured it out! When I ununstalled Boot Camp it removed the XP partion from my machine but it didnt select the Macintosh HD as my boot drive.
Basically my MacBook was searching for the Windows partion not finding and then launching OS X.
