Blackra1n Improved My 3G Signal

Iwas jailbroken for a few months and restored to factory settings 2 days ago, after some random reboots.
Whilst running a stock spec, my 3G signal was dire at my workplace.
Now I've used blackra1n again, things are awesome.
I wasn't aware that it altered the signal in anyway.

They probably put up another cell tower at your location

Maybe, but for the day or so that I was running stock, I had a consistent 1-2 bars of Edge in my workplace's basement floor, versus a steady 4-5 bars of 3G, when jailbroken either side of that.
YMMV, but the jailbreak definately did something to the signal.
